La grabación de la octava temporada debió haber empezado el 30 de julio

«The Big Bang Theory» pospone el inicio de la grabación de la octava temporada de la serie a falta de llegar a un acuerdo entre Warner y gran parte del elenco principal.

Hace semanas comenzaron los rumores sobre la posibilidad de retrasar de manera indefinida el rodaje como al final ha sucedido. El motivo del conflicto puede verse en el contenido de este video.

Informa Deadline que los contratos de Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper), Johnny Galecki (Leonard Hofstadter). Kaley Couco (Penny), Simon Helberg (Howard Wolowitch) y Kunal Nayyar (Rajesh Ramayan Koothrappali) están en el aire todavía desde que terminara la séptima temporada terminó con la séptima temporada ya emitida y los actores y la productora aún están lejos de llegar a un acuerdo.

Tendríamos que haberlo sabido. Con los cuentos y fábulas de moda y Hollywood inmerso en un huracán de adaptaciones, continuaciones y veneración a la tendencia del momento, era cuestión de tiempo que nos llegase una nueva versión televisiva del mundo de Oz. Este verano, con un éxito moderado, llegó a la pantalla grande ‘Oz, un mundo de fantasía’, pero la novela infantil de L. Frank Baum ha visto más adaptaciones además de esta protagonizada por James Franco o aquella inolvidable y encantadora película de 1939; las adaptaciones son infinitas aunque alguna de las más recientes son ‘Tin Man’, aquella (fallida) re-imaginación del universo que emitió Syfy cuando aún era Sci-fi Channel, protagonizada por Zooey Deschanel, Richard Dreyfuss y Alan Cumming entre otros o ‘Alice‘, de la misma cadena.

Después de ‘Heroes’ y ‘Touch’, Tim Kring prepara un nuevo proyecto titulado ‘Dorothy Must Die’, junto con dos productores ejecutivos con los que trabajó en ‘Heroes’, que escribirán el guion. CW está en negociaciones con Kring para hacerse con la emisión de lo que al parecer es una adaptación (de adaptación; ¡a dos niveles!) de una novela juvenil del mismo título aún no publicada, una tendencia que se ha seguido mucho este año con las nuevas series.

Esta versión tiene lugar en el presente, 80 años después de que Dorothy Gale supuestamente volviese a casa. Lo que ha sucedido realmente es se ha quedado en Oz presidiéndolo con mano de hierro con la ayuda de sus amigos el espantapájaros, el hombre de hojalata y el león. Cuando otra joven de Kansas llega a este reino de fantasía fascista (palabras de Deadline), descubre un grupo de brujas y seres encantados con ansias de sublevarse pero a falta de un líder. La novela saldrá la próxima primavera, pero una especie de precuela ya está disponible actualmente.

‘Dorothy Must Die’ se une a otros tantos proyectos que circulan porlas cadenas americanas actualmente, como ‘Emerald City’ de NBC, ‘Dorothy’ de CBS (un culebrón médico inspirado en el universo de Oz) o la miniserie de Syfy ‘Warriors of Oz’. En Hollywood no ha uno sin dos, dos sin tres ni tres sin seis.

Como ya sabran Kate Hudson esta en Glee como la profesora que hara que Rachel sufra solo un poco en NYADA. Aca el poster
